The elegant yet robust Hero panel is packed with features to assist the less able (DDA). A wide-angle camera allows visitors of different heights, e.g., wheelchair users, to be viewed while voice prompts and LED icons ensure visitors are guided through the call process. The on-board hearing loop assists those with hearing difficulties while a large LCD display provides visitors with an index of users and system operation guidance. The robust 316L grade stainless steel panel houses large call buttons that in addition to the backlit numbers are marked in Braille. All buttons have high visibility bezel and a proximity reader cut-out allows the addition of most popular readers.
